This is the name on everything you post. Most artists use their business name.

You can change this later in settings.

Community Guidelines

This is a supportive space for makeup artists and hairstylists to ask questions, share experiences and learn from each other.

  1. Be respectful. Different opinions are welcome, but personal attacks, bullying and pile-ons are not.
  2. Protect client privacy. Don’t share names, contact details, private messages or anything that could identify a client. You’re welcome to share your own work when you have permission.
  3. Keep it relevant. Posts should relate to makeup, hair, weddings, products or running your business.
  4. No advertising or self-promotion. Genuine recommendations are welcome, but don’t use the board to sell products or services. No affiliate links. You can add your Instagram through Network so other artists can find you.
  5. Keep the board private. Don’t screenshot or share someone else’s post, images or comments outside the community without their permission.
  6. Don’t name and shame. You’re welcome to recommend people and businesses, but don’t publicly identify someone you’re criticising. You can still ask for advice about what happened without naming them.
  7. Only share what’s yours to share. No hateful, discriminatory, explicit or illegal content, or content that belongs to someone else without permission.

Posts that break these guidelines may be removed. Repeated or serious breaches may result in your account being removed from the community.

If something doesn’t feel right, please report it through the post menu or email artistarchiveapp@gmail.com.

Refusal test

Replies to my posts When someone answers your thread or your comment. A busy thread emails you at most once an hour, not once per reply.
The weekly digest Monday morning, covering the week. It does not send in a week when nothing happened.

If a post of yours is ever hidden you are always told, so that one has no switch.

People you have blocked

You will not see their posts. They can still use the community, and they are not told.
